MathMaster AI ("the app") helps you practice and learn math. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We collect the minimum needed to run your account and sync your progress.
Account information: your email address and the display name you choose, collected when you create an account.
Profile photo: only if you choose to upload one.
Learning data: practice results, XP, streaks, skill ratings, completed lessons, notes you write, and problems you save. This is the data that makes your progress sync across devices.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or browsing history, and the app contains no third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
Your data is used solely to operate the app: signing you in, saving your progress, adapting problem difficulty to your skill level, and restoring your data when you reinstall or switch devices. We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing.
Data is stored in Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Storage), protected by security rules that restrict every record to the signed-in account that owns it. A copy of your recent data is cached on your device so the app works offline; that cache stays on your device.
The AI tutor runs entirely on your device. Your conversations with it are not transmitted to any server, are not stored after you close the chat, and are never used to train anything.
The app is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect more information from children than from any other user (an email address and chosen display name). If you believe a child has created an account without appropriate consent, contact us and we will delete it.
Your data is retained while your account exists. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time using the contact details below; deletion is permanent and completes within 30 days.
Data in transit is encrypted with TLS. Access is controlled by Firebase Authentication and per-user security rules. No system is perfectly secure, but we design so that only you can read your data.
If this policy changes materially, the app will show the updated policy with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
